Scott joined Venture Investors in 1996 as an Analyst and was promoted to Managing Director in 2000. Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Scott focuses on investment opportunities in medical devices and digital health.

With more than 29 years of investment experience, Scott currently serves on the boards of EnsoData, Elucent Medical (founded by the original team behind NeuWave Medical), RiverMark Medical, and Eximis Surgical. He leverages his deep networks and industry insight to identify transformative technologies emerging from university ecosystems – innovations with the potential to improve human health and build successful startup ventures.

Scott led the initial financing round for NeuWave Medical when the company consisted of just one employee and its four University of Wisconsin founders. He played a critical role in identifying and recruiting its CEO and the second employee at the time of investment. NeuWave was later acquired by Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon division, delivering one of the largest returns in the firm’s history.

Before joining Venture Investors Health Fund, Scott held positions at McDonald’s Corporation as an
