Becky joined Venture Investors in 2012 as the Controller on a part-time basis. Her primary responsibility at the firm is to maintain accurate accounting records and prepare timely quarterly financial statements for the Funds and the management company. On an annual basis, Becky is responsible for coordinating the financial statement audit process and tax preparation with the third party CPA firm that Venture Investors Health Fund engages.

Shortly before Becky joined the VI team, she started a small consulting practice where she offered general accounting and human resources services to start-up companies. Two of her clients were Venture Investors Health Fund V portfolio companies.

Prior to working with VI, Becky worked over four years as an Audit Senior Associate with two different international CPA firms, Grant Thornton and BDO. She specialized in audits of biotechnology companies, including audits of two VIESF III portfolio companies – Nerites Corp. and ZyStor Therapeutics. Becky also performed several audits on manufacturing and SEC companies.

Outside of work, Becky enjoys traveling, hiking, relaxing at the family cabin up north, running, and spending time with her husband, two daughters, and three pups.
