Venture Investors of Wisconsin, Inc. (VIW)

Roger H. Ganser formed VIW in 1982 and spent the next two years raising capital and marketing the fund. The first investments were made in December 1984 and John Neis joined the team in May 1985.

VIW currently has 43 shareholders including management. VIW was originally conceived as an Evergreen Fund with the capacity to invest the proceeds of exited investments. The fund invested over $9 million in 19 companies and has generated returns in the top quartile among its peers for its vintage year.
