Roger Ganser
Roger founded Venture Investors of Wisconsin, Inc. in 1982. He is a co-founder and Managing Director of Venture Investors LLC.
Roger has extensive experience as a director of portfolio companies, over 25 years of experience in small business financing and ten years experience as owner/manager of small businesses. Since moving into semi-retirement, Roger has been using his breadth of venture capital and operating experience to mentor and advise the other members of the team in a wide range of issues that they encounter as portfolio company directors.
Roger is Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Investor Corporations -BetterInvesting and President of the World Federation of Investor Corporations. He is a member of the New York Stock Exchange Individual Investor Advisory Committee. Roger is on the Board of Directors of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Foundation and is a member of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Translational Research Biomedical Engineering Center Oversight Committee. Roger recieved the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2001 for his role in the creation of a venture capital industry in Wisconsin. In 2007, Roger received the Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Achievement from UW-Whitewater. Roger has a Master’s degree from the Rockefeller School at SUNY-Albany and an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
