INCEPT BIOSYSTEMS OPENS BIOLOGY FACILITY IN WOBURN, MA
Incept BioSystems officially opened a new biology and embryology facility located just outside of boston in Woburn, MA. The facility will be lead by Doug Powers, Ph.D., HCLD, its new V.P. of scientific and clinical Development.
“This facility will provide Incept new capabilities to accelerate product development and scientific knowledge,” noted Mike Crowley, Incept President and CEO “we now have the ability to match the speed of our product prototyping capabilities with outstanding biology located in a region known for its supply of world class biology and embryology talent.
In addition to its outstanding academic institutions for life-sciences, Massachusettes has the most comprehensive mandated insurance coverage in the country for IVF and thus some of the largest IVF clinics in the country. This unique mix of industry and academic talent will allow Incept to grow its facilities as it nears market launch. In the near-term, Dr. Terry Zhu, Ph.D. will join Dr. Powers in the Woburn facility.
